Rolling a joint is a skill, not a mystery once you've got the steps down, it becomes second nature.

Rolling papers are made from hemp, rice straw, wood pulp, or flax, and most run between 70 and 110mm long. Natural plant fibers like hemp and rice tend to burn a little more evenly than wood pulp, which often needs extra additives to burn slowly and steadily. Some papers also come flavored with fruit extracts like blueberry or pineapple, if you want a little something extra with your session.
RAW is one of the most popular names in rolling papers, known for unbleached, natural fibers that burn evenly and slowly. Elements and Juicy Jay's are two more brands DHC carries if you want to compare rice-paper thinness against RAW's classic hemp feel. Zig-Zag is another trusted name you'll find across our rolling and cone lineup.
DHC carries rolling trays featuring Jay and Silent Bob, Guns N' Roses, and Cheech and Chong designs, plus the filter tips and rolling machines that round out your kit. Want to keep your papers company? Our dab tools collection covers the concentrate side of things, and an ash tray keeps your space tidy between sessions. Rolling your own vs. sparking up a pre-rolled cone comes down to personal preference; we carry the accessories for both.
Rolling papers are usually made from hemp, rice, flax, or wood pulp. The material affects how thin the paper feels, how evenly it burns, and whether it adds any flavor to the smoke.
RAW papers are popular because they're unbleached and made from natural fibers. They're known for burning evenly and slowly, with very little added paper taste.
Hemp papers are a bit thicker and more durable, which makes them easier to roll, especially for beginners. Rice papers are thinner and more neutral in flavor, but take a little more care to roll well.
1¼ size papers are the most versatile and a good starting point for beginners. King-size papers give you more length and capacity, which works well for bigger rolls or sharing.
Not strictly, but it helps. A rolling tray, filter tips, and a rolling machine keep things organized and cut down on mess, especially if you roll often.
They can be. Flavored papers add a mild taste to a session without overpowering what's inside, though some smokers stick to unflavored papers to keep the original flavor front and center.
