Gravity Bongs 101

The Gravity Bong goes back to the early 2000s; a couple stoners were unsatisfied with the hand pipe they had been using and started looking for a new way to enjoy their favorite cannabis products. What Is a Gravity Bong?

Ah, our old friend the gravity bong! Often referred to as a bucket bong, a waterfall bong, or a bottle bong, a gravity bong is a special cannabis smoking device. Some people refer to a grav or a gravity hookah, just like you’d refer to Xerox or Kleenex—these are actually brand names for specific gravity bong designs!

More generally, any gravity bong uses gravity and pressure from water and air to draw cannabis smoke through water. This cleans and cools the smoke before it comes out of the mouthpiece and gets inhaled.
