Glass Bongs

Thick glass (5mm-9mm) survives drops and bumps better than standard 3mm glass. Thicker walls provide more stability, resist temperature changes, and feel more solid in your hands. If you're accident-prone or want something built to last, go thick. Regular glass works fine if you're careful.

Pour out old water and rinse with warm water. Add isopropyl alcohol (90% works best) and coarse salt, cover the openings, shake for two minutes, let soak for an hour, then rinse thoroughly. Clean weekly to keep hits tasting fresh and prevent resin buildup.

Borosilicate glass resists heat and thermal shock better than regular glass, so it won't crack from temperature changes. It's the same material used in lab equipment. Most quality bongs use borosilicate because it's durable, clear, and handles repeated use without clouding or breaking.

Glass bongs are fragile, so travel carefully. Clean it thoroughly first (resin smells), wrap it in bubble wrap or towels, and pack it in a padded bag or case. For frequent travel, consider a mini glass bong (under 10 inches) or bring a silicone backup instead.
