Pick the tip, then the body. Choose the body first: glass and quartz suit people who like a classic collector, while silicone is flexible and rugged for a bag. Then check the tip material and length, and keep a butane torch and some glass cleaning solutions handy.
Short steps, careful hands.
Tip material is the big feature here. Pulsar's Quartz Dab Straw and Quartz Deco Dab Straw bring a quartz tip, while the Glass Dab Straw w/ 10mm Titanium Tip and the Cloud 8 Honey Bee straw use a titanium tip. The Valentine Rose 6 inch and the Glass Honey Dab Straw are each a glass dab straw with a different shape, and Gift Guru's 6.5 and 7 inch models are a flexible silicone straw with a Ti or quartz tip. Pair a straw with a torch lighter for steady heat.
Daily High Club's own straws, including the Terp Drip, Valentine Rose, Studded Donut and Glass Honey Dab Straw, sit beside Pulsar's quartz models and Cloud 8's Honey Bee silicone straws with titanium tips. Gift Guru adds silicone options with 14mm Ti or quartz tips, and the Ooze Clobb is a silicone bong and straw in one. Listings state length in inches and tip material, so picking is easy.
A dab straw, also called a nectar collector, is a slim straw with a tip that you warm and touch to concentrate. It is compact, easy to carry and has fewer parts than a rig. Browse more nectar collectors for other styles.
The Pulsar Dab Straw with Honeycomb Diffuser has an insert with many small openings that breaks the airflow into finer streams. It is a feature to look at if you like a more diffused draw, and the title names it.
Pulsar's Quartz Dab Straw is a quartz straw, and the 5 inch version and the On the Go Replacement Quartz Dab Straw are also listed. Choose between them by length and by whether you want a replacement piece for a straw you already own.
Glass and quartz straws have a classic collector feel, and quartz is a common tip material. Silicone straws are flexible and tougher in a bag, usually with a titanium or quartz tip. The title names the material and the tip.
The Terp Drip Dab Straw is a 7.5 inch straw in the collection. Check the listing for the tip and material, since the title gives the length. It is one of the longer options, which some people find easier to hold.
Let it cool, wipe the tip, then soak glass or quartz in isopropyl alcohol and rinse with warm water. Check what a silicone straw is made of before soaking, and follow the maker's guidance. Dry the straw fully before it goes back in your bag.
Daily High Club's own line, Pulsar and Cloud 8 Smoke Accessory appear in this collection. Check the length, the tip material and the body on each listing, because those details decide how the straw handles. Titles name glass, quartz, titanium and silicone options.
