A bong bag is a padded, often smell-proof case built to carry a bong, dab rig, or pipe safely, and DHC carries duffles, backpacks, and stash bags in sizes from pocket-sized up to 24 inches.
Start by measuring your piece from base to mouthpiece, then add a few inches of buffer for padding so it isn't jammed in tight. DHC's bag sizes run from compact stash bags for a single pipe up through 18-inch and 24-inch cases built for full-size bongs and rigs, so match the bag to the bong rather than sizing down to save space. A bag that's too snug defeats the point, since the padding needs room to actually absorb a bump.
Airlines generally don't ban glass pipes or bongs from checked luggage the way they do carry-on liquids, but rules vary by airline, airport, and destination, and dry herb paraphernalia laws differ by state and country. If you're flying with one, rinse it out first, pack it in a padded case so it survives baggage handling, and check your airline's specific policy and local laws before you travel, since this is one area where it pays to double check rather than assume.
Most bong bags marketed as smell-proof use carbon-lined fabric or a sealed lining that helps contain odor rather than eliminating it completely. That lining works best when the bag is fully zipped and the piece inside is clean, since built-up resin can still carry a smell that a liner alone won't fully mask. Pair a smell-proof bag with a clean piece for the most discreet result.
Empty all pockets and compartments. Take out any pipes, tools, or accessories before you start.
Wipe the interior lining. Use a damp cloth with mild soap on any washable interior surface, since resin residue is what breaks down odor-blocking liners over time.
Spot-clean the exterior. Handle the outer fabric the way you would any bag, spot-cleaning stains rather than fully submerging it unless the manufacturer says it's machine washable.
Air dry fully before storing. Closing up a damp bag is what leads to musty smells down the line, so let it dry completely first.
Looking for something to actually put inside the bag or protect alongside it? Our glass bongs and hand pipes collections cover what most people are traveling with, and if you're building out a full travel kit, dab tools, quartz bangers and nails, and a grinder round things out.
A padded, often smell-proof case built to carry a bong, dab rig, or pipe safely, cushioned enough to survive a bag getting tossed around.
Duffle bags, backpack-style bags, and smaller stash bags, each trading off differently between storage room, portability, and discretion. Backpacks tend to be easier to carry on the move, duffles usually hold more for a bigger setup, and either one holds up fine for everyday storage at home, not just travel.
Measure your bong or rig from base to mouthpiece and pick a bag sized a few inches larger, DHC's sizes run from compact stash bags up to 18-inch and 24-inch cases. Too tight a fit means the padding can't actually do its job.

Most airlines don't specifically prohibit packing a bong or pipe in checked luggage, but policies vary by airline and dry herbs laws vary by state and country, so it's worth checking both before you fly. Rinse the piece out and pack it in a padded case either way.
Empty it out, wipe down any washable interior lining, spot-clean the exterior, and let it fully air dry before you close it back up and store it.
